Leah is the older sister to Emma Kate’s good friend Robert. Kate and Justin fixed terrific food (as always), and Emma Kate had a lot of fun with her friends.

Emma Kate’s friend Brittain is a month and 2 days older. She threw an incredibly fun 1st birthday party and was a gracious host. The personalized hats for every guest was a really special touch.

I’ve gone to Myrtle Beach every summer since I was born. It’s the family vacation I always looked forward to. Fortunately, Emma Kate is starting the same tradition, even though we moved slightly up the coast to North Myrtle Beach. Compared to Pawley’s Island a month ago, she was much more adventurous and less timid. We all had a blast!

Emma Kate went to her last Kindermusik class on the way to the beach. The car was packed and Tobi was waiting (in the shade). She had so much fun. Gail was a wonderful teacher. Emma Kate loved her!
